In addition, the project to modernise the Montjuïc exhibition centre was discussed, as part of the commemoration of the centenary of the 1929 Universal Exhibition. The management of Circuit de Catalunya has also been highlighted, highlighting its potential to maximise profitability through the diversification of activities, sustainability and digitalisation.
In short, Mr. Pau Relat stressed the importance of the Fira continuing to act as a driving force for economic and social development, taking advantage of Barcelona’s position as a neutral meeting point for debate and negotiation at a global level.
