General Information

Degree

Official title. The Master’s programme in Diplomacy and International Organizations is managed by the CEI, Affiliated Center to the University of Barcelona.

Duration

1500 hours – 60 ECTS credits

• 36 ECTS credits of academic training
  

• 6 ECTS of the Master’s Final Project

• 18 ECTS credits of Internships
  

The duration of the master’s programme (one or one and a half years) will depend on the internship period.

Dates and times

Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 1:45 pm; exceptionally, some activities will be held in the afternoon/evening.

For the academic year 2022-2023 the Master is going to start on September 2021.

Modality

The modality will be determined according to the health recommendations for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Language

Spanish and English.

Admission requirements

• Candidates must hold a university, engineering or architecture degree
• International orientation
• Basic knowledge of international issues
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Spanish
• Curriculum vitae
• Certified copy of your university degree or equivalent qualification
• Copy of a valid ID or passport
• Covering letter
• 2 letters of recommendation (academic or professional, in Spanish, French or English)
• 1 scanned photograph
• Proof of payment of the €130 entrance examination fee

Pre-registration and entrance examination fee: €130*. 

Next entrance examination date: 

• March 9, 2022

• May 12, 2022

• June 30, 2022

The entrance examination will be online and will include written and oral sections and will be in both English and Spanish. It will cover various basic topics in international relations. Prior to the examination, the master’s programme will offer students guidance to prepare for it. 

*The entrance examination payment won’t be refunded at any case. If the student cancels his / her registration before the beginning of the course, the money will not be refunded (except for reasons of force majeure). The amount of the course will not be refunded when it has aldready begun.
