On 22 and 23 September, the CIS International Affairs has promoted and hosted the meeting of a team of international experts environment to discuss the content of a draft international treaty to regulate the privatization of force by states. Specifically, they participated two members of the working group of United Nations on the use of mercenaries, Dr. Elzbieta Karska, chairwoman and Ms. Patricia Arias..; former member of the same group, Mr. José Luis Gomez del Prado, Dra. Helena Torroja, a professor of public international law at the UB and academic director of the CIS and doctoral student at the UB, Mr. Arturo Pallardó. The results of this meeting have been very positive, moving much in the content and scope of the future treaty. The CIS will continue to participate in this international assistance to the Group.
