Only students who have successfully completed all the subjects included in the program are eligible to apply for the corresponding University of Barcelona Master’s degree in Sustainability. Environment, Society, and Economy Continuing Education Program final certificate. There is no option to receive a certificate if the program requirements have not been met. It is possible to apply instead for a transcript of records.
Students who did not hold a previous Bachelors’ degree at the time of enrollment on the Master’s program will receive a Higher University Diploma upon completion.
The issuance of the final certificates will be automatically processed upon the closure of the records at the end of the second year of the program by CEI’s secretariat.
The cost of the final certificate is included in the total course fee. The language in which the certificates are issued is the one chosen at the time of effective enrollment in the program. Catalan is the mandatory language of the certificate, and students can also choose to have the certificate in English as a second language and in Spanish or another language as a third language.
If the identity document presented on the day of enrollment has expired, CEI’s secretariat will contact the student to request a valid identity document at the time of requesting the certificate.
Applying for a duplicate copy of the certificate
When a duplicate copy of the certificate must be issued or a modification of an existing one is necessary, a request should be submitted. CEI-University of Barcelona will only issue a duplicate copy of the certificate under the following circumstances:
The duplicate copy will only be issued if the appropriate fee stablished by the Government of Catalonia is paid.
The duplicate copy will include the following endorsement: “This is a duplicate copy of the certificate issued on [date], with full effects from the date of issue.” The date of issue that must appear on the duplicate copy of the certificate is, in any case, the date on which the corresponding fee was paid.
