Enrolled students can only opt to obtain the corresponding Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Organisations of the University of Barcelona when they have passed all the subjects that make up the course, without the possibility of being awarded a partial degree if they have not fulfilled the requirements of the corresponding studies. This is without prejudice to the possibility of certifying the credits taken in the modules that have been passed.

The following steps will be taken for the issuing of diplomas:

• You can access the University of Barcelona’s degree application platform by clicking on the following link: Application for a Master’s degree and European Diploma Supplement (SET).
• Upon completion of the application, a fee payment voucher will be automatically generated.

The current cost of the degree issuing fees is 218.15 euros, regulated by the Decree of prices of the Generalitat de Catalunya (except in the case of being a beneficiary of some kind of discount, which must be indicated when applying for the degree at the University of Barcelona).

• Then, you must fill in 3 copies of the application form available here: Download form and sign them (one copy is for the student and the other 2 are for the CEI secretariat).

The signature must be either an electronic signature (scanned signatures are not accepted) or a handwritten signature, in which case it must be presented in person at the centre.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the details provided coincide exactly with those appearing on the identification document (DNI/NIE/Passport), including any accents that they wish to appear on the certificate.

• When the application has been finalised, it is essential that the following documentation is provided to the CEI’s secretary:

• • Proof of payment of the online application fee that is automatically generated when you complete the process through the University of Barcelona’s degree application platform. If you are a beneficiary of any type of subsidy, you must also attach a copy of the valid supporting document.
  • 2 original copies of the form, completed and signed.
  • 1 copy of the DNI if you are a Spanish national or of your passport if you are not a Spanish national, which is valid at the time of applying for the qualification.
  • 1 copy of the original graduate degree or equivalent if it was not presented at enrolment at the beginning of the course in paper format at the CEI.

With all this in hand, CEI will provide you with a receipt for payment of the degree.

It is possible to submit this documentation in two ways:

1. By post: in this case, copies of the ID card and degree must be certified, to the following address: For the attention of the CEI FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS INTERNACIONALES: av. Vallvidrera 25, CP 08017, Barcelona (Spain).

2. Come to CEI by appointment, in which case it will not be necessary to certify the DNI and the degree as long as you come with the original and its copy to be certified at the CEI.

Duplicate degree

When it is necessary to issue a duplicate of a certificate or to amend an existing certificate, an application shall be submitted. The following documents shall be attached to this application:

• Original degree.
• Student’s identification document.
• Degree application: proof of payment of the duplicate fee. If the error is attributable to the university, students do not need to pay the duplicate fee. In this case, students should contact the secretary’s office of the CEI directly. If the error is attributable to the student, the new degree will include the rectification diligence.
• If the duplicate of the degree is due to a rectification of the data of the same, it will be necessary to attach a document specifying the rectification to be made.
• If the modification is due to a change of name and/or surname(s), documentary proof of the change must be attached, either the civil registry certificate or the new identification document.
• If the modification is due to a change of nationality, the certificate from the central civil registry (Madrid) must be attached.
